I think this site is going to be big. It is a great addition to the supra community. On of my high school cars was a 1989 Supra Turbo, Auto and I sold it when I was young. I have regrated it for a long time now. About a year ago I was looking on Facebook marketplace and I found a guy selling a factory 1989 Supra Turbo with a R-154 and only 89k miles. He was a younger kid and it was past down from his dad. It has zero rust and is immaculate inside and out except for missing one body molding strip. I got it for 12k and drove two states over to pick it up. I have not been in a rush to build it up yet but will have a lot of time when I early retire in about 6 months. I have purchased a 2jz-GE with only 60k miles on it for a good price but not sure if I will build it yet or upgrade the 7M. I really wanted to buy the 2jz before prices went even higher. I will be moving to the Chattanooga TN area in November and will be looking for other supra owners to hang out with. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
