How to use Paint Codes

The Paint Codes section helps identify factory A70 Supra colours, two-tone combinations and related colour notes.

1. Search by code or colour
Use the paint code page to look up known factory paint codes. You can search by code, colour name, market or year when available.

2. Understand two-tone combinations
Some A70 Supras used two-tone paint combinations. These may include a main body colour and a lower accent colour. The paint page helps connect the codes and notes together.

3. Compare markets and years
Not every colour was available in every market or every year. Use the notes to check if a colour belongs to Japan, Europe, North America or another market.

4. Use photos carefully
Photos are useful, but lighting, resprays and camera settings can make colours look different. Always verify with the code plate when possible.

5. Add missing information
If you know a missing colour, have a good original-paint photo, or can confirm a market/year combination, submit it or discuss it on the forum.

Good paint-code contribution checklist
- Paint code
- Colour name if known
- Market/year
- Solid or two-tone
- Photo if possible
- Source or note explaining where the information came from
